Welding of the disc
If the diameter of the disc is longer than the sheets metal available on market, the cone sector and the sphere lunes are joined through welding.
This process is managed by a welding manager who chooses the better procedure for completing it. The welding operators are workers of Tommasin with regular licence and procedure dedicated to them, qualified by institutions like TUV, ISPESL, BUREAU VERITAS, following the most important international rules. There are different kinds of systems: Automatic Plasma - Tig Plasma - Mig Submerged and manual Arc with electrode or Tig.
